((and just as note: the “click” is just for the door fully closing. I realized as I was uploading the page that it could be read as the door locking and that was not the intent.))
Thanks for reading! See you next week!

But does he know the click wasn’t the door locking? He doesn’t have much experience with doors. Does he even know how to use a doorknob?
It’s a good enough question and one that I wondered about myself. I suppose it would depend on whether or not the farmhouse had them (because even if he never went in, he might’ve seen it) but I never actually decided whether that was something he really understood. 😀
…though for the purposes of this scene, you can also assume that the click is the door tapping shut, because the intention here was really just to show that he was waiting until he was sure Rasque had left before accepting the food, because despite how hungry he is and how kind Rasque has been, he still doesn’t really trust anyone.
Really, though, it’s worth examining how this person would react to how alien EVERYTHING in this city is. 🙂
It’d probably be overwhealming for the poor guy. Not quite like traveling to the future (Such as this: https://youtu.be/ys_zvG7gws4?t=1m39s ) but he is in a human city where he thinks he’d be killed/attacked on sight.
I mean he’s been in the city eariler, but that was at night… though even then people tried to kill him for some mysterious reason.
Yeah, basically everything’s a threat to him right now.
Also ANY Gargoyles references are very welcome in my book. Still remains one of my favorites! 😀 Thanks!
