Now now, no copying off of others, you have to come up with your own memories.
It does make me wonder about which is worse though. “Rat” certainly seems more insulting, but “dog” is used as an actual insult far more often.
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
Where I’m at, “Dog” is used as a term of endearment and respect among my people. (What’s up Dog? Yo, that’s my Dog right here!) “Rat” however is never used as a good thing as far as I know. I still wouldn’t recommend calling someone Dog unless you really know the culture and the people.
This is absolutely true, but there’s also “dirty dog” or “ugly as a dog” (sometimes simply “dog ugly”) and the ever-popular “b***h. (Just censoring it because I’m not personally fond of the word.) Whereas pop culture doesn’t really turn to rats as insults as often. I brought it up mostly because that fact actually surprised me when I stopped and thought about it. XD
But what of the dog’s name? Would that do?
If Rasque were actually picking himself a name? Yes, definitely! And that would likely be where his mind would go too. I think it just struck him kind of funny that when asked the question his mind immediately went to something that could also be insulting. 😀
