A) This is a common birthmark like a mole or “the royal star” stereotype (which I doubt because fur patterns isn’t something that usually repeats itself unless it’s part of a creature’s breeding)

B) There really is something to this “curse” thing? (Which is obviously a lie of sorts, but like with most lies, there’s always a grain of truth to them.)
That’d actually be pretty cool idea to explore. Wish I’d thought of it first! ๐ But if that had been the case, Jurim probably wouldn’t have referred to it as a “curse”. He probably would’ve been all “this is what you deserve” or “this’ll remind you of your place” or something.
