Also, you weren’t exactly being subtle about it, let’s be real.
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
((Sorry about the late post! I set the wrong time for it to go live and since I was still logged in as admin, the post showed for me fine. Thanks for your patience!))
That is a very subtle and important point Rothe brought up. We all know what human bruises look like, but any damage done to a furred creature is usually covered by the fur. This is why veterinarians have to comb back the fur on cats and dogs to find small cuts so they can disinfect it properly. So being able to spot a bruise on a Botheri without it is being very obvious is quite impressive.
Or he’s a good cop and knows how to read people.
Well stated! I won’t reveal Rothe’s secrets on the matter, but I will say that Rasque in particular is not very good at hiding how he’s feeling at basically any point in time. 😀
Well, you don’t have to be a “good cop” persay to know when someone’s been abused(hit) recently. Just have to be someone who’s seen the signs enough times. Avoiding eye contact, being unusually quiet, overly trying not to be confrontational.
Also, that accursed tail’s been tucked between his legs for hours now.
(Sorry, couldn’t resist at least one light-hearted joke. Dark times bring them out of me.)
Pretty accurate I’d say.
…on both counts! 😀
