If there’s one thing that he’s learned, it’s that Hawthorn will back down if you yell at him enough. He may not like it, but he’ll back down.

Took me stinkin’ long enough! XD I admit, I didn’t think it was be as easy as this for Tren/Nareth to get his body back. Well…’easy’ being a relative term. So whatshisface isn’t the antagonist anymore, apparantly, which begs the question of who will take his place. I am intrigued to see how things progress! =D If there’s one benefit to my being out of touch with your comic this long, it’s that I had the joy of a large bunch of comics to read all at once, and it stopped at, I think, a rather satisfactory point. 😀 Keep up the great work, Song!
Hey, welcome back and I’m glad you’re enjoying! Thanks so much! I agree reading a bunch of this at once. I often wish I could update faster, because TM reads much, much better in chunks I think, but weekly updates keep me going, haha!
Funny enough, in very early versions of the story, this part was much closer to the ending, and if that were still the case, I probably would’ve drawn it out a lot longer and made everything much more epic. But when I was planning the story I realized that there was a LOT of story still to tell past this point.
I worry about it a lot, because it’s not really a traditional story in a lot of ways, and from here on out, there really isn’t a “villain” – at least not as the word is typically meant. Hopefully, it’ll still work out, as the villain was never much of a focus or force in the story, but I admit, I worry about pulling it off.
To say what’s to come without spoilers though – this a comic, “dead” does not necessarily mean “gone”. 😉
Wow, that was unexpected to happen but for a moment I though that he would die, now I cant wait to see how Nareth will lead his “army”, hope he can persuade them to stop this war

I do wonder if the Psyche Formerly Occupying Nareth is actually gone. He’s talking like he knows what’s going on with the camp, which seems a little odd if Former Tren-An has been half-mindless under the control spell this entire time.
