Kei has some opinions she’d like to share.
The line in panel 4 is just the boetheri language version of the curse that Jaith has used – “Grik’s claws!”
Thanks for reading! See you next week!

Kei really doesn’t get it at all
She’s certainly coming into it with a VERY different mindset (and far less information).
But if someone explained would she listen?
Haha, well I suppose it depends. đŸ™‚
I think what Kei really can’t understand is that Tai and Jaith consider Nareth, perhaps now more then before this journey, their friend. Tai said it herself that things are very different for her and Jaith, and she is right. Friend or no they’re both still considered Nareth’s slaves, despite how Nareth feels to the contrary. They don’t have the same freedom Nareth has.
Huh…it’s not letting me reply directly to your comment, so my apologies if you don’t see my reply here…
Anyway, I was trying to keep my comments vague, since there’s a lot in this comic I want readers to decide for themselves, so I didn’t want to dictate anything to you. That said, I’m breaking that because this comment in particular really hit the nail on the head with what I was trying to do. Jaith and Tai are in a very strange place right now with Nareth, and Kei’s self-righteous rant isn’t helping anyone. They may all be boetheri, but Kei can’t really understand what it’s like for Jaith and Tai.
I think the site only lets you respond so many comments deep, possibly because of how narrow the web format is…
geez, Kei, don’t yell at them! it’s all they know…plus he really IS a good master…when he was himself and, you know, not possessed by a psycho…
I think Tai should “explain” things to her! lol (I didn’t miss that little “off you go, little hawk, things are gonna get messy”) alto Jaith could surprise us, too……
Yeah, I think on of Kei’s big problems is that the only point of view she’s considering is her own, haha.
Missing the forest for the trees!
Yep, that’s a good way of summing it up.
