OH MY GOODNESS YOU TRICKSY PERSON IT IS AN EVILTREN ZOMBIE.
I wonder if it really is stress or if whatshisface (I feel weird calling him Tren since that name had positive connotations for so long) somehow came back to life. COnsidering the weird magical powers the guy had, it wouldn’t entirely surprise me? BUT THIS IS QUITE INTRIGUING and really very refreshing; even if it is just a hallucination, it brings Tren back into the story in a way, which I think is healthy. AFter his long involvement in the plot, it felt a little strange for him to so suddenly be defeated and absent. I am excited to see what will happen!
I’m with you though, it was so nice to draw him again. It was so weird ending the last scene with him knowing it’d be a while before we saw him again. And that trouble you had regarding the names is the exact reason there’s never been a cast page. How on earth would I write up the main character? Which one would I even use as the main character?
It’ll be interesting going forward, though. It’s probably going to be a bit of a slow burn, since all the action we had not long ago was the end of book 3 and this all is now the intro chapters of book 4, but I think it’ll work out.
Hehe I guess now Nareth is going to start seeing things from all the stress he’s been under
And he’s certainly been under a lot. 🙂
What.
