All right, who’s ready for a bunch of pages of exposition about what the heck is going on here?
(Let’s be real, if you made it this far into this comic, you’re already used to that. π )
Thanks for reading! See you next week

What a twist! (I’ve been here the whole time but never felt like commenting again till now.)
I can understand that, given the tone of the more recent pages, haha!
Whoa!! Wait, what?!? OMG next week will NOT come fast enough!!
Mwah ha ha ha! π
??????
?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!
Pretty accurate response, I’d say.
Calling it now: Either to save his life or because Nareth deliberately chose to they switched him over to a new body. The only question I have is, where did the body come from?
I think that’s a decent call. π
At last! An answer!
Now to hope for a few more! π
Haha, well, they pop up from time to time. π
I’ve been shipping those two since about halfway through the strip, so I’ve got something to root for!
Awww, that’s kinda awesome!
What did it for me was when she was unknowingly telling him about her childhood and how he just saw her as an equal and a friend. Between that and her other comments to him and about him, I think that she really, really cares about him in a deep way, and it doesn’t feel like a familial one (well maybe a bit familial).
Her reaction here has only increased my bets in the matter. She cares a lot for him.
(The thread went too far and it won’t let me reply directly to you. Sorry about that π )
But I’m rather gratified to hear that. I do write her from the perspective that she does care for him a great deal, but it’s always hard to know how others will interpret things. I don’t like to dictate things for readers, but it’s really nice to know that it does come across. π
I second that ship!
Although I’ve also been concerned about fixing the power dynamic before that relationship develops too far, and this seems like good progress!
I think I’d agree with that.
