I would congratulate Ravik on cutting right to the chase, but Tai wasn’t there for that conversation so unless Jaith passed that info along she still has no idea what you’re talking about. Luckily, Agneris will expand upon that in the next page.
So this page exemplifies two important lessons about making webcomics. One being that you probably shouldn’t go for an unusual angle you’re not used on something that’s meant to be a final page. The second being that due to schedules, you’ll sometimes have to post pages you’re not happy with. Ah well.
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
Ooooh! I see!
I’ll bet the end result was his choice, too.
Considering that Guren spent a decent amount of time learning about and emphasizing with Tai and planned to free her before he “died,” I’m positive this is what he wanted.
I think the only problem Guren is gonna have now is convincing his old friends that he didn’t “betray his heritage” when making this choice. That’s always the problem when dealing with race issues steeped in tradition.
I don’t know if he’s going to reveal to many of those friends what he did, though. I’d imagine that he needs to keep his true identity secret to avoid the very problems that would be thrown at him otherwise (the nobles, for example).
With the diplomatic backing of the elves and his inheritance, he can still be a force for change in the world, but be free of the baggage that would have been attached to him.
Agreed. I think this is the best possible outcome for him while still having some permanent consequences. Now let’s see how his new and old friends react to it…after we find out how this even works first.
Ravik should really handle the reveals, he’s a lot more straightforward with it. 😀
Well that was a sudden and blunt answer haha. Still, I’m curious to know Ravik’s feelings on this what with his resentment of how he came to be what he is since it saved Nareth’s life…
Well, he’s always such a cheerful guy, it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. XD Though i suppose the helmet doesn’t help much either.
You need little emotion balloons floating next to his head like in SIM games! XP
That would be kind of amazing.
