She knows, man. She’s been there.
…of course he can be educated on the subject, but there’s a big difference between logically knowing something and actually experiencing it.
Translations for panel 3:
“He is still a terrible boetheri.”
“One of the worst.”
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
Geeze Agneris, really…. you couldn’t figure this out on your own?
Haha, right? Agneris gets what he’s looking for out of a situation, and doesn’t think much beyond it. π
In other words, he’s going to need someone to help him out! Hint hint, nudge nudge!
Agneris would like to say he planned this all, but truthfully offering them jobs was Tren’s idea. …Agneris had totally forgotten about Jaith and Tai. π (Though, since that tidbit never made it into the script, it’s not necessarily canon…heh)
That’s okay, I’m hinting with the power of mighty thought to more than enough make up for his omission!
I think I can believe in the power of hints. π
Doesn’t really need specifying, since at this point it would be seriously out of character for Agneris to start paying attention to any of Nareth’s friends and family except to have them removed as an inconvenience.
Honestly, he’s lucky it’s taken as long as it has for one of them to lose their temper with him, but it is kind of sweet that Tai is angry on Tren-An’s account rather than her own.
It’s very true. He is a very narrow-minded person and Jaith and Tai just aren’t in his scope at all since they have nothing to offer him. I think Tai’s impatience with his nonsense has been building for a while. π
