I am not too fond of this cover.
It’s kind of boring for one thing. Though that was sort of an intentional choice. Not a lot visualy happens in this chapter, it’s a lot of exposition, and what little visual stuff does happen I didn’t want to jump the gun on. So I chose a more generic picture. I figure the last two covers were both pretty good, so as long as I pick it up again on the next one, I’m doing okay. ๐
…but the art didn’t come out right either. I still like the inks of this pretty well, so I messed it up in the coloring somewhere. I’m sorry about that.
On the plus side, I really think next week’s update will make up for this week’s somewhat lackluster one, so be sure to tune in then…
…but if you want something a bit better now, I posted a vol 3 cover over at DA which may not be the best thing ever, but at least it has a bit of meat to it. ๐
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
I find this cover interesting enough. I am going to guess that middle boetheri is Kei!
Yep, that’s Kei! She’s ready to go meet some humans, haha!
I like this cover, too, and that one over at dA is awesome! (but, you already know that, lol)
Haha, well thank you anyway. I’m glad people are enjoying it. I’m equally glad I had something else to offer with it, though. ๐
Can’t wait for the next page! Also, I would just like to say that I’m really missing the boetheri Nareth, he’s just not the same as a human again

I can definitely sympathize with that. I enjoyed drawing him more as a boetheri too. ๐ I was really nervous about doing it at all because I knew everyone (myself included) was more attached to the boetheri version…and it’s a more interesting design to boot.
All I can really say is that I turned him back to a human for story reasons (he has some unfinished business to take care of) and that this is all part of the plan.
…now, as to whether or not the plan pays off, I guess that remains to be seen, but I think you’ll like the next update at least. ๐
