It may just be me but… is that the same guy who was leading those I guess humans who were fighting the elves/boetheri from the last book?
When I say ‘I guess humans’ I meant just a group of random jerks who wanted to keep fighting a war most people moved on from.

It hasn’t really been shown yet, but this comic is set sufficiently far in the future that it wouldn’t be the same person.
…that being said, there a definitely a lot of similarities between the two, both in character and design.
